लिख रहा हु अपनी कहानी
जो न लिखी मेने अपनी कलम से

कोरे कागज़ सी थी ज़िन्दगी
जिसने जो लिखना चाहा
लिखने दिया हमने उनको उनकी कलम से

दौरे मंज़िल मैं नापता चला गया
ये ना समझ पाया
किसने क्या लिखा अपनी कलम से
किसने क्या पढ़ा अपनी नज़रो से

जब खड़ा था कही बीच में
ना रास्ता था ना मंज़िल थी
तब पलटी किताब ज़िन्दगी की
जो लिखे थे उन्होंने अपनी कलम से

खूब रोया था उन पन्नो को पढ़ के
और सोच लिया था खुद लिखना हैं
अपनी ज़िन्दगी को अपनी कलम से
